Love, Assurance & Obedience

This past Sunday Pastor Emilio preached from 1 John 3:16-24, a sermon titled, “How God’s Children Love, are Assursed, and Obey”.

During his first point we learned that Christian love is rooted in the gospel, that we love because Christ first loved us (1 John 4:19), in the 3 minute clip below Emilio explains what it means to lay down our life:

During point 2 we learned of the importance of being confident in our assurance, especially in the day of judgment (1 minute):
