Living as You Are Called

In continuing with our sermon series through 1 Corinthians, Pastor Jay Jesuroga preached on “Living as You Are Called” from 1 Corinthians 7:17-24.

The outline is as follows:

  • The Principle
    • God has given each a particular lot in life through His calling
  • Paul argues by way of analogy
    • Circumcision nor Uncircumcision matter
    • Slave nor free matter

This section is all about God assigning us to live in a particular spheres of life, just as he has called each of us. Pastor Jay expounds on the call of God in the 2 minute clip below:

After Paul gives the principle, he then gives some analogies. The first being circumcision and uncircumcision and the second being slaves and freedman which Pastor Jay expounds in the 2 minute clip below:
