“Union with Christ” | Men’s Study Update
This week, the Men’s Study will be picking back up in chapters 5 & 6 of Jerry Bridges’ “The Pursuit of Holiness.” The chapters are quite short, so don’t be discouraged if you haven’t been able to make it yet. You are still welcome to drop in and benefit from the discussion.
This week, the discussion will focus largely on the concept of being “raised with Christ” as taught in Romans 6. Therefore, it may benefit participants in the study to revisit Pastor Jay’s sermon, “Three Aspects of Resurrection Life.” In this message, Pastor Jay explores this concept in great detail. Looking at Ephesians 1, Jay explained that our union with Christ (though started in eternity past) is actualized in time and space when we believe the gospel (3 minute)!
