In continuing with our sermon series through 1 Corinthians, Pastor Jay Jesuroga preached on “Reasons Why a Wife’s Role Ought to be Subordinate to Her Husband’s” from 1 Corinthians 11:2-16.

Pastor Jay further explains how wife’s are equal to their husbands (in a sense) but how they play a different role, and what that role represents (showing how this is rooted in our Triune God… namely, that within the Trinity, even God the Son has a subordinate role/function [NOT nature] to God the Father [3 minutes]):

Sadly, it is popular today to see the roles of husbands and wives reversed. This is dishonoring to God. Pastor Jay said it like this:
“Men, if you fail to lead your wife and your children you are dishonoring Christ as your head!”
