Sunday School [Nov. 2010] Resources

Posted on November 14, 2010 in Blog, Congregational Resources, Sunday School

As we mentioned during the announcements, for those who have children in the Sunday School (ages 0 to 7th grade, different than Sunday Seminary) here are the catechism question and memory verse the kids learned this past week:

Catechism Question:

Q1: Who made you?
A1: God made me. (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7 | Eccl. 12:1 | Acts 17:24-29)

Memory Verse:

Genesis 1:26-27

Here are  the songs that the children have been learning in class this month:

The first song is called “God Made Everything” from an album called “Jesus Came to Save Sinners”. You can either download the song or download the entire album for free. You can also simply listen to the song online below:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Or download the album straight to your iTunes .

The kids are learning the books of the Bible, and what better way than through song!? This is not the same version that the kids have been learning but the album below, that you can download for free, includes songs that teach the books of the Bible (and those may be the only songs worth keeping on this CD, use your own discretion):

“Blessed Be Your Name”, which you can listen to it below:

“Almighty Creator” from Sovereign Grace Music’s album Awesome God.

And finally, they have been learning “Nothing but the Blood” (Matthew Smith version).
